As a former Division 1 soccer player, I have been around the fitness world my whole life.  After completing what I thought was my one and only marathon after my soccer career, I stepped away from my competitive side as I got married and started a family.  Years later, I felt the competitive juices flowing again but wanted to remain flexible with my family’s schedule – so I took up running and never looked back!

Ever since I took up the sport more seriously, I’ve DEVOURED everything I can from the best minds in the sport and have applied this to my own training.  I have always been passionate about finding my potential in everything, and now that includes RUNNING!  I love learning from others, from beginners to the most elite.

As an icing on the cake, I earned my coaching certification from the Road Runners Club of America.  It has been so much fun to be passionate about a sport again!

I believe in the power of setting BIG GOALS for yourself and a persistent positive attitude.  In 2017 I set out to break the world record for the fastest marathon while dribbling a soccer ball.  Despite some setbacks in training, I set this record in a time of 3:29:03 and raised a lot of money for a good cause in the process.

I joked that I had finally gotten my 15 minutes of fame, even if it was only local fame!  You can see the finish down below!  What a fun moment!

As runners, we all need a place we can turn to when the race gets tough; in the last few miles of a marathon, for example.  For me, this is my wife and kids.  If I can inspire them and lead them to dig deeper in their own lives, then I’ve accomplished something.

My latest goals?  Individually?  Chasing down a Boston Qualifier and sub-3 hour marathon.  Professionally?  Helping others realize their running goals by providing quality coaching at a reasonable price.
